The collection features five distinctive blends: Ecuador Connecticut, Serie L Natural Corojo Puro, Ecuador Sumatra, Mexican San Andrés, and DF Habano Maduro. La Aurora Cigars — the Dominican Republic’s Oldest Cigar Factory
La Aurora has been rolling premium cigars in Santiago, Dominican Republic since 1903, making it the country’s oldest cigar factory. Founded by Eduardo León Jimenes and still guided by the León family today, La Aurora is one of the most respected names in the cigar world — old-school Dominican craftsmanship with more than a century of blending experience behind every stick.
What do La Aurora cigars taste like?
The portfolio runs the full spectrum. The Preferidos line — La Aurora’s flagship, rolled in the brand’s signature perfecto shape — comes in six wrapper “jewels” (Gold, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Diamond and Platinum), from creamy Connecticut to rich maduro. The 107 series delivers earthy, balanced medium-bodied smokes; ADN Dominicano celebrates Dominican tobacco, including rare andullo leaf; and Cameroon 1903 showcases the spicy-sweet African wrapper. Limited releases like the 120th Anniversary and Family Reserve Guillermo León are collector favorites.
